With many sites and stores already announcing their Black Friday offers it's time once more to start the obligatory Black Friday/Cyber Monday thread.

If you see any good offers please feel free to post them here, and I have to admit, there are already a few knocking about.

Please do not post links you have found on other sites, but link directly to the item on it's orginal page.

Also don't forget to call out anything that looks a bit iffy i.e. using CamelCamelCamel (get the plugin if you are not already using it!) you see that a good offer was an even better offer in June!

So, I'll start you off with this one - https://www.amazon.co.uk/HP-OMEN-27i-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B088MF7HVB?ref_=Oct_DLandingS_D_3ea15cdd_75&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE which also seems to be reduced to the same amunt across several retailers.

Stuff I've had in my wish list ready for Black Friday has now gone up apart from a solar panel for home cctv which has saved me £15.

Going to hold out till black friday and see what happens then.

I want to upgrade my Unifi stuff at home, but with global supply and demand being an issue I doubt there will be any bargains :/

What do you have currently? I've just pulled out 2 AC Lites and gen 1 cloud key i don't need anymore!

on topic : I'm after a GoPro or similar if anyone spots one!

I'm after some SSDs and an RRP 3080 please!

I've spotted a couple of Kingston 960gb SSDs for £65 but I'm unsure whether to hold out or pull the trigger on them!

I managed to nab one of the Early Access Dream Router yesterday ( https://eu.store.ui.com/collections/early-access/products/dream-router-ea ). For about £82 all in (including VAT & Shipping) which should be a fun thing to play with. Sold out now though. Just hope it gets here ok, but I've read that stuff has been getting through from them from Europe to the UK without too much hassle these days - and as it's below the £135 threshold it should be good as VAT is paid already. Fingers crossed.

They keep popping up as available - just got lucky yesterday.

That looks a pretty epic device!

If anyone spots any decent APUs around £150, my HTPC needs upgrading.

Yeesh! I'll also keep an eye out for unicorns, there may be more chance there, although there may be a few last gen APU's up for grabs later on possibly. What do you currently have?

As it's currently running off an Asus E45M1-M PRO Motherboard (M-ATX, DDR3, Integrated AMD Dual-Core Processor E-450 with AMD Radeon HD 6320 Graphics) pretty much anything would be an improvement, but would like something W11 capable!

Also any SUPER offers for c. 55" (biggest I think Mme LeMarchand will sanction) TVs 4k, HDR etc etc 3+ HDMI (pref 2.1), Q or OLED, 60 (pref 120 hz) refresh. Don't really NEED, just want! Would be more sensible to wait until current (1080p/non-smart) one is on its last legs.

I've a USG , unifi switch 8 , switch 8-POE-60w and a U6 lite

I'm after another u6 lite, 16 port poe lite and a dream machine pro

They don't seem to be doing anything about replacing the USG with something new

TBF I'm considering other options too

I had been eye that up since it was announced but I heard from yanks who got it a month ago it isnt great if you use PPPOE and have a fast connection (aka openreach mostly) as its cpu is pretty weak which I suspect may be down to the chip problems.

I would like a Dream Machine Pro but it too has issues with PPPOE if you have FTTP with openreach as it gets pegged by the cpu but they are trying to improve that.

I just got a hold of a USW-Lite-POE in both 8 and 16 ports here to try. The unifi interface is nice but damn is it buggy, I keep getting the feeling unifi's software devs are drastically underfunded. The *new* interface is a mess and missing a ton of stuff and the old one couldnt handle me rewiring the positions of my switches so I may have to reset the whole thing.
