So, as usual, if you see anythign that you think is a good deal then please post up the link in this thread with a decription of the item please i.e. 'A good 4k TV smart TV - <link> as in the past some peopel just post links with no description. All I have seen so far is some pretty decent deals (as usual for this sale) on Amazon devices such as the Echo Dot 4th Gen at half price for £24.99 - https://www.amazon.co.uk/all-new-echo-dot-4th-generation-smart-speaker-with-alexa-charcoal/dp/B084DWCZXZ/?_encoding=UTF8&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_p=4a6287e1-f357-4688-97eb-7e9872864dd5&pd_rd_wg=dwlNB&pf_rd_r=YGJT9BNFRG90PW6XDN6R&pd_rd_w=7CgWO&pd_rd_r=0b20e955-4259-404d-8fda-7d5aa78d3a75&ref_=pd_gw_unk Time to scour the TV's!
DeGrimmy Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 The Razer Blade 15 (2020) is down to £799.99 - It's a fairly great deal if you're in the market for a gaming capable laptop. Only small con is the small SSD capacity. There are plenty of other laptops on offer too.
Dos_Box Posted June 21, 2021 Author Posted June 21, 2021 There seems to be a lot of deals on monitors too - https://www.amazon.co.uk/deal/c93520d7?showVariations=true&ref=deals_primeday_deals-grid_slot-6_9fdc_dt_dcell_img_15_c93520d7
tg12 Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 I'm eyeing up the SSDs on here at the moment, not bad prices. https://amazon.co.uk/deal/497ef5d3?showVariations=true&ref=deals_primeday_deals-grid_slot-6_dcda_dt_dcell_vai_4_497ef5d3 Seems a lot more stuff I would actually buy rather than just selling off the old junk nobody was buying this time around. 1

I was thinking that, there doesn't seem to be many 'good' deals on TV's but that is a cut-throat market atm, but lots of tech on sale at good prices. Edited June 21, 2021 by Dos_Box
DeGrimmy Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 I'm just waiting to see if any of the RAM sets I've added to my wishlist get discounted at any point - One set, not on sale, has already reduced by 6% today!
Dos_Box Posted June 21, 2021 Author Posted June 21, 2021 Some good smart heating deals if anyone is looking for them - https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=smart+heating&i=prime-day&ref=nb_sb_noss
DaveTheTech Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 Quick check on Camel and a lot of the deals are actually deals - rather than the regular price increase and drops. 1
supportman Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 (edited) If anyone is into BBQ'ing then this is a good deal on a temperature sensor, although at has been this price before a few times recently. MEATER Plus | 50m Long Range Smart Wireless Meat Thermometer for The Oven Grill Kitchen BBQ Smoker Rotisserie with Bluetooth and WiFi Digital Connectivity: Amazon.co.uk: Garden & Outdoors EDIT: Oh dear, price seems to have gone back up now. No good Alternative still at a good price Inkbird Meat Thermometer Bluetooth Wireless BBQ Thermometer ℉/℃ with 1000mAh Rechargeable Battery Rotatable Screen for Barbecue Meat Oven Grill Smoker (BBQ Thermometer + 4 Temperature Sensors): Amazon.co.uk: Kitchen & Home Edited June 21, 2021 by supportman 1
DeGrimmy Posted June 22, 2021 Posted June 22, 2021 I'm just waiting to see if any of the RAM sets I've added to my wishlist get discounted at any point - One set, not on sale, has already reduced by 6% today! The RAM that was slightly reduced sold out when I checked in the evening yesterday, and the last option on my wishlist (which happened to be the most expensive option) only had two sets left in stock! I felt I needed to get in quick, so unfortunately no savings for me
sonofsanta Posted June 22, 2021 Posted June 22, 2021 If anybody needs a new smartphone, there's some very good OnePlus discounts on today: https://www.amazon.co.uk/stores/page/2DFF5B0F-2901-4524-A4F1-2CA9C4DE913B?ingress=2&visitId=c989df50-d114-4520-a3c9-ddc9fcf1ae00&ref_=ast_bln&&sc_src=email_2493948&sc_customer=&sc_lid=204471353&sc_llid=29855&sc_uid=0baoMvvUID In particular, the 12GB/256GB version of the OnePlus Nord is down from £470 to £307. I just got the 8GB/128GB model a few weeks back (at £329, bah!) and it is a lovely phone for the money--90Hz AMOLED screen, fast and clean version of Android, good camera. All the phone you need, honestly. (Though if you really need top end specs, the 8T and 8 Pro are also on sale.) All these models are about to be replaced but are no more than 6-12mo old each, and they've not been this cheap before. They're likely to go out of stock soon, given their replacements are just being released. 2
bald_pig Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 I picked up a couple of things, I grabbed a Ryobi impact driver set for its lowest ever price on Amazon of £91, and a HyperX mechanical keyboard, which after using the gift card from my quidco savings, cost me about 50p!
Duranis Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 All I have seen so far is some pretty decent deals (as usual for this sale) on Amazon devices such as the Echo Dot 4th Gen at half price for £24.99 - https://www.amazon.co.uk/all-new-echo-dot-4th-generation-smart-speaker-with-alexa-charcoal/dp/B084DWCZXZ/?_encoding=UTF8&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_p=4a6287e1-f357-4688-97eb-7e9872864dd5&pd_rd_wg=dwlNB&pf_rd_r=YGJT9BNFRG90PW6XDN6R&pd_rd_w=7CgWO&pd_rd_r=0b20e955-4259-404d-8fda-7d5aa78d3a75&ref_=pd_gw_unk Thanks, I grabbed one of these for my Mrs with a couple of smart plugs as its her Birthday Friday. We have a bunch of Google Nests but she wanted a Dot to use amazon Prime music through.
FragglePete Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 I grabbed a HP Envy x360 Ryzen 5 Laptop for my daughter as she's off to Uni that was a fair bit cheaper than normal. Was looking at the glut of second hand ones on eBay but this worked out better value with having a new warranty on it. Nice. Pete
Dos_Box Posted June 23, 2021 Author Posted June 23, 2021 All I got was a WiFi antenna set and base for my new AX PCIe WiFi card and a 1l bottle of Kracken. There were quite a few good deals, but nothing I really needed.
ICTDirect_Dave Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 We did a bunch of very early christmas and birthday shopping for the kids. Ten ideal gifts for around £130 total which amounted to around £120 in savings. Shopping around and looking on camelcamelcamel these were genuinely good prices, so quite happy with that and its less to worry about come the autumn.

Dos_Box Posted June 23, 2021 Author Posted June 23, 2021 Apparently there is a Steam sale beginning today in a few hours!
DeGrimmy Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 Apparently there is a Steam sale beginning today in a few hours! Oh, my poor wallet...

tg12 Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 Bit the bullet and treated myself to a 2TB Crucial MX500 SSD. I had £55 of Amazon gift cards my school gave me almost 2 years ago when I left them and I haven't known what to do with them so used them on this! £83 after those knocked a chunk off which isn't bad. Now I have plenty of SSD space for Microsoft Flight Simulator
Ditto Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 Looks like it's over now - I wasn't organised enough to make any purchases. Oh well, another one will be along soon enough.
Zoom7000 Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 I managed to get a few things: Apple Watch Series 6 for £299 (Down from £209) - This was a very guilty "I'm recovering from covid and need to splash out to feel better, but really don't need this" purchase! 😂 Govee LED light strip for £16.09 (Down from £22.99) - Govee have since refunded me for this because I simply couldn't get it to connect to WiFi. They offered to send out a replacement. I said just refund me and I'll keep the faulty one! They agreed! Anker Soundcore 2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker for £27.99 (Down from £39.99) - I got this to replace the Anker Soundcore 1, which they refunded me for because the version 1 was giving a 1 to 2 second delay every time sound would play, making it very annoying indeed. I am very happy with the version 2 however! It's a great sleek looking speaker for my setup! All in all, I was quite happy with Prime Day this year!

By your description, I'd say you've been had!
Zoom7000 Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 Are you sure you're fully-recovered? By your description, I'd say you've been had! In all seriousness, no I'm not fully recovered yet. I'm still suffering from chest pains, a very bad cough, headaches and insane tiredness! Been written off work till 5th July to rest and recuperate! So, the Apple Watch goes a very tiny way to make me feel better! 🙈
