My brother brought home some Relentless. I don't mind energy drinks if you are following it with exercise and what not but the size of this can was enough to give the fittest guy a heart attack!

*Eyes the can of Relentless on his desk*

I'm not a caffeine junkie as a rule but when you've had a late night, they sure do help! :drunken_smilie: I agree though, it's a huuuge can and I could never drink it all in one go - I space it out over a couple of hours.

I don't have energy drinks that often, but they sure do help in the middle of the night when your trying so hard to stay awake :D

I'm hearing tales of students drinking three or four cans before an exam?

I'd hate to be them when they eventually come back down???

Is this stuff adictive?

Can't stand the taste of the stuff myself.

Tastes great if you dilute it with vodka or peppermint aftershock

Like when playing GTA IV at 03:00.

We've banned kids from having all of this sort of stuff as well as big bottles of coke etc...

Same at our school. All fizzy drinks banned. The odd one gets smuggled in though.

The kids here are hyper enough, without adding Caffine to the mix!

Energy drinks like that are just plain S**t, you're better off making a nice fruit smoothie, this will give you a lot more energy than that crap and you don't have the 'come down' after the drink has gone through your system.

Failing that drink plenty of water gives you a lot more energy as well.

IMHO :)

Caffine is a drug, so you can indeed get addicted. I think a lot of it is common sense to be honest. If you consume too much of anything it can make you ill.

Too much chocolate, watch the weight appear :)

Not sure why but Red Bull makes me sleepy... Weirder... if I add in Lucozade I go positively mental.... The downer is not pleasant so I wouldn't recommend it.

I'm very caffeine sensitive..like alcohol..I can have maybe 1 glass, and that's enough to do the job and send my balance gaga.

Caffeine is funny..we go to LEA meetings (me driving), and all they serve is black coffee in HUGE McDonalds style jumbo cups...by the time it comes to leave, I'm positively climbing the walls...I think Steve dreads it..

I'm caffeine sensitive too ... it affects me in the same way to some extent. This is one of many reasons why I don't drink alcohol but love Coke!

My wife now has me on caffeine free diet coke for most of the time, but I do need to reduce the amount of normal coke I have at work. It was terrible when Vanilla coke was around. I *adored* the stuff.

As for chocolate .... that is the main reason for me putting on a few extra pounds ...

Off home now to relax and unwind after a busy day ... and with not a fizzy drink in site for at least one night.
