Good Afternoon All,

I hope you are well and enjoying the half term quiet time.

Following on from my previous post, our new game changing recycling app is now available to download on iOS!

iOS: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/stone-360/id1533823626

Android: Coming soon!

It's time to put the power of green technology in your hands and get rewarded for recycling your redundant IT with Stone 360, where E-waste collected and responsibly recycled in 5 simple steps.

Plus, as a launch bonus, the first 250 people who download the Stone 360 app and book a collection will receive 50 bonus points to use on new tech! (Don't worry this will be split equally between iOS and Android, so those of you who don't use Apple will still be able to take advantage!)

Any questions feel free to drop me a PM or a comment below.

Kind regards

Jack

Has anybody used this service yet? We have a lot of equipment to dispose of/recycle of soon.

Does anyone know how many points items such as PCs, Laptops and projectors etc are worth? And what do points equate to in terms of £s?

I haven't used it yet, but at least from the pictures on the app/demo it seems to be 1 point = £1, and 10 points per collection (If you use the link above and look at the screenshots that's what I mean)

Maybe just demo data but suggests that's the case

I have used the app it was very easy to use, I think you need 25 items from the list and you can take 5 pictures. Stone will get back to you with a date. I will be using the app again very soon.

Thanks for the replies.

We're going to raise a collection using the app this week and I'll let everyone know our experience.

Do they take anything like ie Interactive whiteboards, redundant caballing such as audio leads, old headphones etc or is it just PC items?

We've added some Interactive Whiteboards to our collection but couldn't see any options for keyboards, cables etc.

Good Morning all, thanks for the replies on this thread. To address the points above: If your collection is over 25 qualifying items (this will be listed in the app) then you can add 3 extras on which we normally wouldn't collect such as Cables etc. on the collection screen within the app it tells you what is and isn't a qualifying product. Reference the pricing you receive, i have a fair market value sheet which i can send over on an email to anyone who may want it. my email is [email protected], should anyone want it! As of this current moment, we have 1200 customers who currently use the app, and to date have collected over 100,000 units!

Hello @howartp, the minimum number of qualifying units for a free collection is 25 of a mix of items. any collections less than that number of items will be subject to a charge, dependent on geographical location from the stafford HQ. i hope this helps :)
