Ubiquiti - Master Resellers

Hi all,

 

We're looking at ubiquiti as one option for our infrastructure refresh. I just want to know who you guys would recommended here in the UK.

 

I don't have any experience with these suppliers, so just wanted to ask the edu community if there's any in this list you'd recommend.

 

We're looking at a core and edge refresh with the possibility of wifi further down the line if we find it better than our current Sophos Wifi/AP combo.

We just buy direct on their European website, seems to work well and be the cheapest and quickest.

 

I've used 4Gon in the past but they don't carry much stock levels when I was looking mid lockdown.

We brought from 4gon over the summer. They did have to order them in, but was only a couple of weeks lead time. Were the cheapest of 3 quotes we got.

Got Ours from Bt Business Direct in the 5 pack version

I use 4Gon at home / community centre, but MSDist won our tender process last September.

ps - the 5-pack weren't always cheaper than five singles.

4gon are the distributer for Ubiquity AND they are a retailer. So if you order from someone else they may still arrive from 4Gon.

Used MS Distribution, Amazon and then most recently Ubiquiti's EU store.

LinITX & 4Gon are names I am familiar with, my friend uses them for his business, I use BroadBandBuyer for my networking needs at home but if the other 2 come cheaper I get my friend to get it and I'll get it via him.
