smurfomatic Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Either they're REALLY desparate for people to join this course, or they've got a wrong date somewhere... 1
LeMarchand Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Nothing says "I love you" like cheap tat reduced by 50%.

I doubt the seal between the brickwork and the corrugated roof is watertight. 2 2

LeMarchand Posted April 14 Posted April 14 OUR BUS. OUR CHOICE. Doesn't sound as inspiring as they seem to think. Whilst they should be applauded for their honesty it really sounds like they're saying, "We're doing things this way. Don't like it? Then walk." 1

I did wonder if there was a "Y" or two I couldn't see, but no. https://www.bluestarbus.co.uk/ourbus Quote OUR BUS. OUR CHOICE. Whether you choose the bus for work, to get to school, have adventures, or just to meet up with the people you care about, we’re here for you every step of the way. At Bluestar bus, your journeys are more than just A to B; they make you part of our local community. And by choosing to ride you’re supporting local businesses, saving yourself money, and looking after Southampton’s future. Good one! Which doesn't particularly work with the slogan.

Hmm. 😏 What, that's only 10^45 above the pain threshold... It can definitely be "heard from a distance" - travelling through air, it'd take 100 million light years to get to the level of a jet engine
Koldov Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Me: Is 600 dB even possible...? Gem: A 600 dB sound level is physically impossible in Earth's atmosphere, if it was possible it would cause immediate destruction on a planetary scale. Me: OK, calm down... you could just say no... 1
6Foot2 Posted May 6 Author Posted May 6 Gemini: Quote A 600 dB sound is physically impossible within our universe. Because the decibel (dB) scale is logarithmic, every 10 dB increase represents a tenfold increase in power. A sound of 600 dB would contain more energy than is present in the entire observable universe.

sigma Posted May 8 Posted May 8 https://www.kbb.com/car-news/tesla-recalls-cybertruck-because-wheels-may-fall-off/ Tesla has recalled a total of 173 Cybertruck models from the 2024-2026 model year equipped with 18-inch steel wheels due to a potential wheel-stud failure. Cracks in the brake rotor stud holes could cause the wheel studs to separate from the hub, making it harder to control the vehicle and potentially causing the wheel to fall off, increasing the likelihood of a crash. 1
