Popular Post crc-ict Posted July 13, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 13, 2020 (edited) Hello there Edugeeks The time has come to say farewell. After 15 years in the 'trade', I'm leaving my job and educational IT behind to focus on a new venture. They way IT has changed over the years has lessened it's appeal to me and I've decided to make a clean break and start up my own business as a mobile caravan and motorhome service engineer. It's my last day in school today, two days this week working off-site and a few days handover in the summer and I'm done. Thanks for all the entertainment, info and support over the years. Goodbye Edugeek, you're one of the good ones. Cheers! Edited July 13, 2020 by crc-ict Can't add up! 20
FN-GM Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 It takes some bottle to start a business. Best wishes and good luck! 2

MatthewL Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 Your skills may come in useful, fitting of a mobile data router to the caravan/motorhome, hook them up with wifi when on site or use 4G when out and about!!! All the best though. 1
TwistedHelixis Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 I would also enjoy doing that as a job :-) Have fun, all the best. 1
DrBeaker Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 I think you'd still have a lot of IT experience and IT wisdom to add to posts, so don't stay away permanently! Best of luck with your endeavours! 1
mikeprice Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 Good luck in your new venture - hope it goes well! remember to check in from time to time - there are some 'less techy and serious' areas the 'some people' frequent and you knowledge and experience could still be useful anyway 1
