IAMCloud_Curt Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 Hi, Does anybody have any scripts to map the sharepoint library ID? Tried over GPO but Microsoft TechNet reckon it takes a while, we need it instant on logon as we are looking at replacing drive maps. SSO is configured and OneDrive auto logs them in, but looking to take it further now and not just their personal onedrives but also sharepoints. Thanks Curt
tapb Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 I've been monitoring this for a while as I think it would be very useful for many scenarios. Here's docs page with the GPO information https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/onedrive/use-group-policy#AutoMountTeamSites I've got a colleague who's been testing it. - - - Updated - - - Here's the techcommunity thread on the topic https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/onedrive-for-business/sharepoint-online-team-sites-automount/m-p/313635
thimon Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 Does anybody have any scripts to map the sharepoint library ID? Hi @CBlunt Please see the logon PowerShell script that maps SharePoint document libraries. The OneDrive client needs to be logged in, and the relevant ID information input into the script. Please let me know if the following link works for you. This script is only in testing, we have not rolled this out at all. Cheers. https://gdsto365-my.sharepoint.com/:t:/g/personal/s_nicholas_rhsb_gdst_net/EePvitOuVyRLuGqh6aAy9f0BgFNXT2w7BZHW68GjDTaLjQ?e=MpXZJs
UmerIT Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 Hello, We are using Cloud Drive Mapper to map sharepoint library and onedrive. This includes SSO so as soon as you login it will map the drives and you will not need to sign in to anything

psydii Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 I've thought about this a bit but never implemented. 1) Have on premesis groups that have equivalent SharePoint sites. 2) add the various relevant IDs (as listed in a post above) to the relevant on-prem group's extended attributes. 3) Logon PowerShell script using ADSI (remember that?!) to read these attributes for groups the current user is a member 4) pass them to onedrive something like this: start "odopen://sync/?siteId=$siteid&webId=$webid&listId=$listid&userEmail=$upn&webUrl=$URL&webtitle=$webtitle&listtitle=$listtitle" Word of caution with large numbers of users logging on over multiple PCs - you may hit throttling limits for you tenant- I can't find a reference about what they might be though.
