Well not really a new member, more of someone who's fell by the wayside and found way back. Really I was looking for extra info on BETT and remembered this place.

It looks like a little while since I last posted here, but I hope to stay this time and contribute to the community again.

Vaguely annoyed that I can only go for one day this year (Friday), but I can't really complain - it's on account of having a new apprentice starting next week; it'd be unfair to leave him on his tod for two days in his first week! Did consider bringing him along, but he's got a lot of college induction stuff to do.

There Thursday afternoon until Saturday. Be warned, I'm bringing the queen of the blag again with me this year (although she's off the shop floor Friday as she's booked in an all day M$ seminar...

My OH has banned me from collecting free pens as apparently "we have enough already!". This is probably true - she goes to a fair few conferences/trade shows and grabs freebies too, so we do have a large quantity of random pens.

 

Notebooks, USB drives, mugs, etc. however....! Also, any pens I do collect can be given to the admin team in hopeful exchange for biscuits or chocolate! :)

I'll be there on Thursday, but for only about 4 hours. Work have booked advanced trains and I'll get there at about 10 and have to leave at like 14.30.
