Hi

Got a small education establishment we working with, they don't have their own website and just using as a link from the main councils website

They looking to move to Office365 they have their own Windows server running a few laptops and desktops all basic setup nothing too fancy

They looking to migrate everything to O365 but to setup an account they need a domain name right?? i.e theirwebsite.com or whatever

Any suggestions where to get this from or any preferences or companies you can recommend for a domain name

once they have a domain name then I guess they can signup for a 365 account

Thanks

NameCheap is good. I haven't had any issues, although after buying the domains I switch the nameservers to Cloudflare. :)

Avoid GoDaddy though.

You only need to prove anything if the domain type is restricted. Eg. .sch.uk or .ac.uk. For a company, I would go with .co.uk, or for a non-profit, I'd go with .org.uk. There's no special requirements for either.
