HFloyd Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 Morning all, I've had no service on my mobile since around 7PM last night, anyone else on EE having the same problem? - I see they're boasting about there new 5G network, shame 4G isn't working at all.
Reboot_IT Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 I'm also in the North-west and I haven't had any issues.
mikeprice Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 It's rubbish here - so perfectly normal have you tried switching it off and on again?? sorry
tg12 Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 All good here in the depths of Suffolk.... I can verify this too.
Norphy Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 I'm on an EE MVNO and all seems OK here at the mo. SE London.
HFloyd Posted May 1, 2019 Author Posted May 1, 2019 I've tried the obvious of course aha, i asked a few people i know and they were having the same issue. - Still haven't heard anything from EE, i may have to wonder into town at lunch to see them in person.
stevejp Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 Issues in SE Kent, signal intermittent for me. Yes, OK, I know I'm a bit late to the party, but all fine here in the jolly old West Midlands.
HFloyd Posted May 2, 2019 Author Posted May 2, 2019 Well it was more serious than i thought.... Apparently i went into a EE store on Tuesday to get a new SIM card and cancel my old one. There's just on catch, i didn't! - I even had this last year were i walked into a store and bought a brand new iPhone, in which again i did not! Filled out the fraud forms, but think i'll be leaving EE for good very soon.
hardtailstar Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Issues in SE Kent, signal intermittent for me. Still issues with my signal! Well it was more serious than i thought.... There's just on catch, i didn't! - I even had this last year were i walked into a store and bought a brand new iPhone, in which again i did not! Filled out the fraud forms, but think i'll be leaving EE for good very soon. Well at least you know why now! I'd also contact the police too. EE should have CCTV so they should be able to trace the person
HFloyd Posted May 20, 2019 Author Posted May 20, 2019 Well it's been a few weeks since this, and still haven't heard anything back from EE. - I have now moved from them to another network, and also cancelled my direct debit to them. I'm sure they'll be in contact soon!
