BKGarry Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 The what?!! [emoji54]The plague ridden nuns. Geez! 1
AJWhite1970 Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 After the city wide chemical scrub we had after the Novichok incidents, pretty sure all traces of the plague have gone now.... @Dos_Box it’s a long story, tell you when I see you next... 2
BKGarry Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 So, there are a bunch of us coming down the the weds at various times, have I missed plans for food? I will keep an eye on weather, as if it's nice, cathedral picnic may be a shout 1
witch Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 Looking forward to it - I too am close enough to go home but will stay on to see you all - especially you @GrumbleDook as I think we have managed half a hug and about three words in the last umpteen years 4
elsiegee40 Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 The plague ridden nuns. Geez! See! All the EduBytes South Central lot know @Dos_Box, but we are are all alive still I think... probably. I may have failed to tell you about this when you discussed the venue with me... I genuinely forgot 1

I will keep an eye on weather, as if it's nice, cathedral picnic may be a shout Yup, that could work. Our car park is empty on the Wednesday, I can open the school back gate, and there is a nice shaded spot that @witch tested out last time the two of us did lunch in the cathedral grounds 1
mikeprice Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 The plague nuns could be a problem - I hear they have some very bad habits 2

ICTDirect_Dave Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Not the smallest, that would be the City of London #UselessFactOfTheDay Actually that would be St David's in Pembrokeshire #UslessFactDebunker
DalekSec Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Actually that would be St David's in Pembrokeshire #UslessFactDebunker ....actually! St David's is the smallest Population, i meant smallest as in size #UselessFaceUndebunked

StevieM Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 @StevieM Sarum College is a lovely place to stay but you’d have to be on your best behaviour.... I'm always* on my best behaviour. As long as it doesn't impose an early curfew, I think I should be ok. I'm only there to sleep. (* except for when I'm not)
BKGarry Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 @Dos_Box Would you and the other event organisers be up for the picnic?
Dos_Box Posted April 29, 2019 Author Posted April 29, 2019 @Dos_Box Would you and the other event organisers be up for the picnic? Well, we are coming down on the Tuesday to setup on Wednesday (I can't speak for the other speakers/exhibitors) but a picnic (weather permitting) sounds like fun
ICTDirect_Dave Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 I'll be down sometime weds afternoon and staying through till friday morning. Weather permitting, a picnic might be nice.
GrumbleDook Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 I’ll be travelling up in the morning, but might see about popping over the day before for a bit, work permitting!
DalekSec Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 I'll be there in the morning and sticking around in the evening. I live locally so free to join any other things going on in the evening
LeMarchand Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 I'll definitely be supervising the installation of some screens at one of my sites .
elsiegee40 Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 I'll definitely be supervising the installation of some screens at one of my sites . You will just have to come over for the social bit one evening then
witch Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 We could have had a band! Although that would have meant @BKGarry and @StevieM hauling their instruments on trains and such 2
StevieM Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 I'll be in the car so I can bring as many of my instruments as required... except for the piano... and possibly the cello. Other than that, I'll take requests for other string/brass/woodwind/percussion instruments people may like to use.
