Not going to complain about that to be honest - drive-by scanning means that I keep mine in my pocket anyway! Happy to give my email to anyone I'm interested in talking to!

 

Unfortunately this is to gain entry to the show. A real badge is needed to get into the show and those printed at home are failing to scan. :(

Is this still the case or has it been sorted now?
No they are too long the DIY badges to scan it seems its a total issue with all badge types so be prepared for a reprint

Just had a quick look at my badge and noticed the side that is printed on the left has a bit of the QR code (and therefore bar code) missing due to printer margins, maybe this is the issue? You'd think as something that is primarily an IT event this would be sorted!

They sometimes do read OK mine looked OK and did scan one day but couldn't the next day and with the mass entry of exhibitors needed to be replaced for fast entry....

Mine read ok printed at work, most are using QR codes to send you the info but the barcode is scanned when you go in.

The advantage of going home each night is that I have full access to the medicine cabinet. As long as ICTdirect_Dave hasn’t used all my strepsils up (I left those on the stand) I should be fine.

What time is Pizza please?

 

Usually about 13:00 - 13:30 depending on how busy the pizza places are (we have them delivered).

Keep an eye on our Twitter feed as we let you know when they have been ordered and on the stand -

I haven't even made it to bett and I'm losing my voice!

 

I have a delightful cough that's developed over the last day -.-

 

I’ve never known a BETT where so many people are walking round with the same cough/cold/throat. It’s the bug that just keeps on giving...

My lung capacity is much reduced with the cough. Tube station stairs are a challenge
