mikeprice Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 I can recommend the veggie wellington - it is vegan too Tried that one - it tasted a bit rubbery 2
elsiegee40 Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 (edited) I have just removed two off topic, political, posts from this thread. If you wish to debate other topics outside what you love to eat at Christmas then please do so elsewhere. Edited December 17, 2018 by elsiegee40
kennysarmy Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Will be a nice chicken breast for us! Turkey is not well thought of by the young Kenny's
FishCustard Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Nut roast for us - not keen on meat particularly and my partner is a proper vegetarian (as opposed to me who just doesn't really like the stuff), so that works well for both of us.
JATSO Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Haven't a clue were not cooking it this year, which means we get to observe and advise and watch the pressure build up, because Christmas dinner has got to be perfect for Mum and Dad coming over.
TomHD Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Its very refreshing to see how many people are going meat free this year, great stuff
elsiegee40 Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Its very refreshing to see how many people are going meat free this year, great stuff And we are not getting into a discussion about the rights and wrongs of dietary choices in this thread either.
TomHD Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 And we are not getting into a discussion about the rights and wrongs of dietary choices in this thread either. Wouldn't dream of it! Happy holidays to all, regardless of your choice of dinner
DJ-1701 Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Well, my Parents are going over to my Brother and his Wife's and their house is going to be jam packed, so this will be the first Christmas I won't be eating with family... I might order a curry. Those worrying that I won't have Turkey will be please to know I have been invited round to my girl friends parents for Christmas Dinner. 1
TomHD Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Those worrying that I won't have Turkey will be please to know I have been invited round to my girl friends parents for Christmas Dinner. No turkey vs the in-laws... tough choice 1
LeMarchand Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 I have been invited round to my girl friends parents for Christmas Dinner. You do know that... 1
DJ-1701 Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 You do know that... I've already fixed their laptops, installed their new printer, I don't think there is anything left.

Rookie error There is ALWAYS something left! even if it is great uncle Cedric's old xxxxx that seems to have become a bit slow recently - and he only bought it 'a few years ago' (which is probably something starting with a 19) - he's left it for you to have a look at 3
