Amazon have the Logitech K400 wireless keyboard+trackpad for only £15. We use one of these in our meetings room so people can connect their laptop by the TV and then control it from the meetings table, and it works a charm. Perfect if you have a PC in your front room.

 

+1 for these. Had mine for a couple of years as to control the HTPC as the iR setup I cobbled together to use the TV remote started to stop working intermittently. Great bit of kit and easy on the battery life.

ive just ordered a pixelbook as the hp i have been using as my main laptop can be a bit slow with some stuff and dosent have the greatest wifi/bluetooth in the world (if you are streaming say twitch and use a bluetooth speaker/keyboard etc the stream gets laggy)

I've managed to buy absolutely nothing during the sales.... Nothing grabbed me

 

I bought a pair of trainers that weren't in the sale and a bottle of whisky for my dads xmas present.

 

nothing really grabbed me either!

I didn't do too badly this year and saved quite a bit as I did my Xmas shopping over the week.

Admittedly, some of it was small savings such as £5-£10 but I also grabbed my daughter a new phone (she's had her WileyFox Swift for almost three years and looked after it every well, so needed an upgrade as it is now not cutting any kind of mustard) and got her the new Xaiomi Mi A2 Lite for £129 (£50 off), and Echo Dot 2 for £24.99, a Swiss watch for £80 (which had 'lots' off) and is my Xmas pressie to myself.

I also got a small USB midi keyboard for my son as he's getting into music production + a 240 GB SSD for just over £30. The keyboard was only £6 off, but they are quite affordable anyway and a lot of small pressies that were discounted.

All in all, I got a good haul and I think that of you are not looking for major savings on large appliences, BF can still be of benefit.

I've done a control this year and checked a few sites prices. I had an Ebuyer basket with components to build a budget gaming PC (sans graphics card - that was an eBay bargain ages ago) for ~ £300. The same components now are averaging £10 less, giving me the same machine for ~£220.

 

The same is true over a couple of other sites, showing me that prices are hugely inflated in the runup to black friday/cyber monday just to then drop them to slightly above what they were charging over that period. I'm over it now :)

 

I am aware that this has been said before, but I now have proof...

Logitech G502 gaming mouse £32.99. RGB, gets good reviews and 3Camels suggests it is actually a good bargain at that price. You've got until the end of the day.

I'm rolling one of thees mice and I love it, although I did have to remap the default DPI keys on the left of the mouse as I kept accidentally hitting them.

Guessing this has become more of a bargain spotted thread.

 

Daughter is after some wireless earbuds, any suggestions? Rather not get the Apple ones.
