enjay Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 Do they put all the Russian ex-spies in the Salisbury area? Witness protection are trying to save costs so they've rented a big house and put everyone in there together, student-flat style. 2
Mewdewgooboofoo Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 @failnator you need to help me convince @castiipaii to come
LeMarchand Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 Question is....... are the ants back? Adam is, but he's in Las Vegas on the 25th and LA on the 27th, so I doubt he'll be in Salisbury on the 26th.
failnator Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 @failnator you need to help me convince @castiipaii to come Should be easy tbh XD
AJWhite1970 Posted July 4, 2018 Author Posted July 4, 2018 Question is....... are the ants back? Not the giant radioactive ones we hoped for, just the normal sized ones we get that escape from Porton Down* *locals in-joke 1
Mewdewgooboofoo Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 Should be easy tbh XD wait i think i have got her to come, dont mention it to her. it will be a surprise
LeMarchand Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 Looks like it was Novichok up the road. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/amesbury-incident-latest-poisoning-skripals-novichok-locals-salisbury-wiltshire-victims-a8431846.html We all need to keep an eye out for people wearing Ushankas.
mikeprice Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 (edited) I've had an idea to improve the image of IT Techs:p Why don't you all pick out the teacher (other staff are available) who causes you the most annoyance and bring them along to the event. Clearly they would get bored during the more techy bits so they can all go off litter picking in the local area as a social activity and to increase the politically correct image of EduGeek Then then can pass around the most interesting things they have found among themselves before rejoining the main event after putting into all in recycling bins etc In my mind this would be a wonderful opportunity for team building between the techy and non-techy elements of education Edited July 6, 2018 by mikeprice 1

cw222 Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 Got the day approved, so I will stroll down from Harnham! 1
BKGarry Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to make it. One of my two technicians has been signed off for at least 4 weeks, due to dislocating their knee. Booooo

Booooo [emoji24][emoji30] You still have responsibilities - bullying @X-13! I hope your tech recovers quickly
BKGarry Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 I will take my responsibilities very seriously to get @X-13 to go. The worse thing is that is happened to my tech while going to sit down. First time (in over 10 years) I've the the one to call and ambulance to work
BKGarry Posted July 9, 2018 Posted July 9, 2018 It is going to be the first one of the Salisbury ones I have missed. I was really looking forward to the picnic (and the potential Russian Roulette of will I get poisoned or not)

Lots going on for me ATM Still, visiting @AJWhite1970 tomorrow so hopefully will get a hug then...We will be discussing what basic foodstuffs to get for the picnic. Do we have a rough idea of numbers?

AJWhite1970 Posted July 9, 2018 Author Posted July 9, 2018 Still, visiting @AJWhite1970 tomorrow so hopefully will get a hug then... Might have to be "safe hugging" though 2

I know a few people north of here who are having to keep their doors and windows closed because of smoke, not nice when it hit 31.2c yesterday...

LeMarchand Posted July 9, 2018 Posted July 9, 2018 Disappointing that there's too many people to call out the register Trumpton Stylee. I did manage: Witch, Dry, DevontechI(e), Tammie, Oaktech, Pug(rick 31).
