Who does your SIMS support and why not Capita as it cost you more what are the befits? Do you get more training days and consultancy included with your support contact? Or is there a Capita cost that I am missing?

School ICT Services for us - we've saved £5,500 p.a. on SIMS Support, and have an infinitely better service for it too! Can't recommend them highly enough. They work nationally too.

How have you save £5k as I thought support was included in your yearly sims license. I trying to find the sims support charge but can't. Which is at least £9k per school?

We were tied in with the LEA originally, then saved that much when we switched. They were a heck of a lot cheaper anyway, then they claim back that support element from Capita and give you that back too...

They were all ex LEA SIMS Support I believe too...

We use a local company called ESS. (https://www.ess.limited)

 

They are all former members of the LAs support team who we used to use before they all left the LA and set up on there own. Well worth the money and they've just gained Capita accreditation as well.

 

They support the vast amount of schools in the city.

SIPS IT for us (former SMIS).

 

Unlimited phone support, remote support and training courses included with site visits as and when required.

SIPS for us too. Fantastic service. Brilliant support. Great staff. Training is the best I've been on. They certainly know their stuff! Can't recommend them highly enough!
