Google for Education - Fuel the Future Tour

I'd like to share series of Google for Education events we're hosting across the UK. You can read more below and register here: https://goo.gl/lbjRUP.

 

How do we equip students with the skills they'll need for the future? With shrinking budgets and constant increases in demand for teachers' time where and how does technology fit in? How can investment in technology help improve learning outcomes, save time and reduce costs? These are just a few of the questions we’ll discuss with school leaders and education technology leads as we visit 9 locations throughout the UK, stopping off in schools using Google for Education technology in exciting and innovative ways.

 

The events will be hosted from 10am - 2pm in the following locations:

 

• 26 April, Wheatley Park School, Oxford (completed)
  
• 2 May, Streetly Academy, West Midlands (completed)
  
• 4 May, Tring School, Hertfordshire
  
• 10 May, Leeds City College, Leeds
  
• 15 May, Kingussie School, Scotland
  
• 18 May, Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College, London
  
• 15 June, St Thomas More Catholic School, Blaydon, Tyne & Wear
  
• 20 June, Barclay Primary School, London
  
• 27 June, Coleg Cambria, Deeside, Wales
  

 

During the event, delegates will get hands on with Google for Education tools, discuss and debate how technology can help address the challenges your school is facing today, and hear from the host school on how they’re transforming their classrooms with technology. We’re hosting specific breakout sessions for IT leaders to explore expert practices for technical setup and deployment of Google tools.

Shame there's nothing closer to south Wales, would of been nice to learn some more about GAPS.
