Guest kerrymoralee9280 Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 Well, we just bought one from Argos - was meant to be a bush 40" for £450 but we got a 42" Acoustic Solutions for the same price. Really good picture, yet I haven't had chance to hook my 360 to it so far.
localzuk Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 We have some LG 42LC55's in school now and they are superb. I saw somewhere that was selling them for £529 the other day.
FN-GM Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 Costco do some good TV's, they have Samsung, Sony etc. They all come with 3 years warranty.
jcollings Posted March 5, 2008 Author Report Posted March 5, 2008 Buy an xbox 360? Nah - had one sold it, got PS3 - sooooo much better IMHO. Samsung is what I was thinking but Sony seem to do some nice stuff too.

Inbir316 Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 Buy an xbox 360? because he wants an unreliable console:confused:
clarky2k3 Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 Get it! I have got the same model and its amazing. You wont regret buying it but you will regret buying ur ps3!
comedydave Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 We have a Samsung HDTV. Wasn't that impressed with it playing Pro Evo on the PS2 on it. Lots of slowdown and pixelation, and the same with regular sky tv. Now I have invested in a 360 and Pro Evo 2008 in 1080p. I love it. Crisp, quick and clear. I now want Sky HD for next years premiership season. Think I might threaten to quit sky and see if the offer me a free HD box
Cravon Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 Sony Bravia HDTV here. whatever you do don't buy a plasma, recharging them is expensive and has to be done every 3-5 years, last time my mate had it done it cost him just sort of £300. nothing wrong with a PS3, some of the games are good and it has Blu-ray wihich is great!

Michael Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 I have a Samsung which I also use with my PC, but it's only 23" Once you've decided on a make/model, I can highly recommend you using Google Shopping to find the best price(s).
