Radlands Posted March 2, 2017 Author Posted March 2, 2017 Hello We are interested in looking at E-registration and visitor management system. We already use Biostore for cashless catering, library management and password managers but wondered if guys would recommend anyone else?

Nausing Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 There's an iPad app which costs $50 a month and is a self service system. The use enters their name and takes a photo of them self. When it's done it prints a custom badge via a wireless printer. http://maxcorso.wixsite.com/receptionsignin 1

sparkeh Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 We use Inventry and pretty pleased with it. Inventry Anywhere, where we can pick up the evacuation list on our phones, is pretty cool. 1

djrscally Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 We also use Inventry, and it does indeed seem to be ok. Only word of warning is; they have "Big" and "Small" consoles. Turns out student registration doesn't work via the Small consoles, so you have to buy the big ones if you want to use it for that purpose. 1

jertsy Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Another Inventry here, pretty pleased with it on the whole. Tech support has been hit and miss in the past, particulary around the start of a new school year but it seems better now.

Reverend_Dan Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Another Inventry here, works well, don't have any bother with it 1

hallb15 Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Yet another Inventry here. It works well for us. We have the main (big) touchscreen AIO PC in the main building reception and a small barcode scanning unit in our second building. We only use it for visitor and staff management though, not pupils. We print our own ID badges for staff on a Magicard Pronto card printer. 2
Radlands Posted March 2, 2017 Author Posted March 2, 2017 Cheers for the input, I have made a note of all those! SLT are keen to have e-registration for every class, they might change their minds when they see the cost! Just wondering if anyone here has actually done this, does it work? Is it more accurate than a manual registration....

In the mornings the children use it to select which lunch option they would like for the day, this automatically marks them present. In the afternoon they use it again for e-registration only. 1
InterwebsGuy Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 We use SwipedOn | Visitor Registration, Made Beautiful on mounted iPads with Wireless label printers for visitor badges over three sites. It also does our staff register. Largely it works OK. 1
Bromcom_Jay Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 I think the only one that hasn't been mentioned is entry sign - we have a whole host of schools on both inVentry and some on entry sign. Could be worth checking if the e-registration system can integrate with your current MIS and if that would be an extra cost? Good luck in finding the perfect one :-) 1
