Just wanted to know how you're configuring IE...

 

Is it completely GPP, or

Is it completely GPO with GPP for proxy settings?

GPP for IE settings (so proxy and more), with Group Policy settings for things like ActiveX controls, zones, buttons disabling, toolbars etc).

Group policy but set it in the registry

Combination of registry and preferences.

Proxy & proxy exceptions done via registry along with default search (google), the rest is done via preferences.

I'm using the proper GP settings wherever possible, with Search Providers pushed out by GPP registry settings.

 

GPP IE settings are far more flexible, but as they are only preferences, can be changed (until the next policy refresh).
