flyinghaggis Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 (edited) I just have a pc, laptop and phone generally. I do have a weakness for collecting old video game consoles and still own every system I've bought since about 1993 so most of the Sega, Sony and Nintendo ones since then! Actually more of a problem is the vast number of DVD's and CDs I've accumulated over the years. They seem kind of pointless in the digital age but they aren't really worth anything to sell and i cant bring myself to throw them out... Edited March 29, 2017 by flyinghaggis
cpjitservices Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 I could do with an old server if anyone has one lol More to add to the collection at home..
browolf Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 (edited) Definitely since my gf moved in. There's only 2 people in the house and we have: My lounge computer (gaming) My bedroom computer (watching tv in bed aka monitor stood on case at side of bed ) Her Laptop Her workroom PC (working from home on) Her lounge computer (connected to the TV) Her Tablet However, there's only 1 tv in the house and it's not connected to an aerial or satellite dish. Joanne Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Wow... I thought I was bad having a Windows laptop, macbook pro and a chromebook.... but seems not! Hahahah! I have a device in each room in which to play emergency poker.
GuyJD Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 (edited) I seem to accumulate old laptops, I managed to snag 4 Toshiba core 2 duo's a couple of years ago when we were throwing them out here for my kids, they are now all sat in a box along with laptops that have belonged to friends and family after I've declared them dead, I don't know why but throwing out a laptop just seems wrong. Other than that the only ones I have are my gaming/media server in the bedroom, mini Aopen pc acting as a kodi box in the lounge and my Work laptop sat behind the sofa (only gets used when I'm on Annual leave to keep check on the school systems and as I never seem to get any leave it never gets used) Edited March 29, 2017 by GuyJD

hardtailstar Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 I have a computer, laptop, tablet. I rarely use those three as I seem to be able to do everything on my phone! My computer is at least 10 years old (except for replaced parts) My laptop is about 3 years old Tablet is about 4 years old. Its just so much easier to use my phone although I am thinking of getting rid of my pc and buying a Chromebook as i only surf the web and occasionally make a word document in Google Drive. Well I got rid of the computer and tablet and bought a Dell XPS 15 Still do a lot on my phone but try and do more on my laptop.
sparkeh Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 The loft is full of old laptops, desktops, CRT monitors, a PowerBook G5 and tons of software. Pretty much just use phone and iPad though as I can do pretty much anything on those for home or work [emoji3]
ITGURU Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 my "bedroom" is an IT room hardly any room to swing on a chair - 2 servers, switches, cctv nvr, nas, desktop pc with 2 monitors, base unit, wireless points, several hard drives cupboards of spare parts
Fazza Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 I just aquired 20+ port replicators, 1 pi-top laptop, 2 pi-top desktops and 2 raspberry pi 3's if that counts?!
