I don't think so. I think it's always random items based in which ones your level.

Just to confirm the grass/leaf animation has no bearing on anything does it? I have debated this with more than one person that swears it gives an indication of where pokemon might be but when I first got this game we spent ages walking around them and didn't get anything.

I think the grass is potential spawn points. But not necessarily where things are.

I assumed that they indicated where people had placed incense to lure pokemon, as it appears to be a recoloured sprite thats used for the lures at pokestops

Got to level 12 last night so getting there! Noticed this morning how much more difficult Pokemon are to catch since having to use 7-8 pokeballs to catch everything now so running out fast and there isn't many pokestops where i live!

it is with flaming zubats definitely but yes even at level 8 its harder to catch stuff luckily i have amassed over 100 poke balls as there was lots of poke stops in the park last night and very few pokemon. Might have to try an urban area but i dont want to look like a total fool lol at least alone theres a group hunt in leeds on the 30th though might join that

or the frustration. I dont seem to be able to find any electric pokemon or a bulbasaur so this might at least give me a chance as there dont seem to be any where i have tried

Went out last night to play for about 2 hours, managed to only play for about 20 minutes because of connection issues. Would have thought with the amount of money they are making (and the amount of money unstable gameplay will cost them) they would have solved the problem by now.

There is one that appears near a gym near me, had one appear when I was about level 5 but it was CP ?? and I use about 40 pokeballs on it then it ran away =(
