Tesla Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Up to level 11 here. I'm in that annoying spot where pokemon are spawning with reasonably high CP and mid-to-low catch chance, but I'm not 13 so no great balls yet. You get them at 12, if that makes you feel better.

Yes, but can still turn the map around etc. Yep, sometimes here too. It's bizarre. I can, for example, click the nearby pokemon menu, it opens, but I can't select any of them, the X doesn't work, but I can still rotate the map from the sliver of it that can be seen behind the popup..

Garacesh Posted July 18, 2016 Author Posted July 18, 2016 I think it's 6, but gym exp (prestige?) required to increase another level increases per level. A L1 gym can have 1 pokemon in, an L2 gym can have 2, etc so they don't usually end up above L3

Loving this game so far level 10 but have a few powerful pokemon which can win me almost all gym battles around here, me and my friends have started doing poke walks in the evenings now! One annoying thing though I caught a blastoise when he appeared at the beach went to level him up and then he disappeared and hasn't returned yet

Geoff Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 CP level of captured pokemon is linked to your level. I would not worry too much about powering up your pokemon until level 20+. It's a inefficient use of candy.

I only upgrade pokemon that can no longer be evolved otherwise it's a waste of candy. Never caught one so far though so not in a heavy area.
