Online Parental Reporting - What do you use

We currently use a company to show our school data (Timetables, assessments, exams, behaviour, attendance and house points) on Moodle for Parents, Teachers and students.

 

We are looking at possibly ditching moodle and going full Google Apps with sites and classroom etc.

 

What i would like to know is what do you use for online reporting to parents? I know SIMS learning Gateway can do it but reviews of that don't seem great. Would love the system to show live data and update automatically so once it is set up it just works. At present i have to update assessment grids to get the students assessments showing.

TASC is about £1,000 a year for a secondary.

 

We use it and its great, 100% of parents signed up.

Just got Insight here and will be launching with parents in the summer.

 

Very good product and works out about £1.25 per pupil on roll.

Out of curiosity, any TASC users mind posting a pic of theirs? Thought of all the ones I've looked at it's the worst layout/usability wise, but wondered as so many people seem to recommend it if I missed something :s

I just gave it a go but its too hard to remove all the personal information. Here's one I found on google image search though which looks similar.

We're running the latest version of Insight from TASC and release to parents has gone fairly smoothly. Only a month or two in and 80% of parents who are linked have logged on and accessed school reports etc. Now they are reporting absences and requesting updates to their contact details. Annual cost is £1.25 per student for us, I'm guessing this will depend on the size of your cohort. Parents like the mobile app which is costing an additional £350 per annum for a presence in the iTunes store and GooglePlay. All in all, fairly intuitive, easy to use and tailor and the tech. support from TASC is good - very prompt.
