I have a Samsung Note 4 on Vodafone. The last Vodafone update(Not Marshmallow) totally killed my battery life. With Marshmallow my battery life is so much better.

It's running fine on my Nexus 5x. If mine was behaving like yours I'd be doing reinstall tho. Maybe you should try Android N?

Done the upgrade, nothing major so far, two issues that have niggled me are you have to swipe before you put in the pin to unlock and in the mail app it shows you a preview of your email which I don't want but neither I can find to turn off. Will see what a few days of use brings up.

OP2 here on 6.0.1 running Oxygen 3.0 and it is immense, fingerprint scanner is vastly enhanced and the speed is brilliant, battery life is nearly 2 days with full use, just cannot fault it.

I'm using XtreStoLite V 3.1.1 on my S6 Edge. It's the most top followed ROM on XDA for the S6. This is based off Samsungs Original firmware and uses Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. I haven't had any problems with that

I did the update on my S5 last night, must have taken a look 50 minutes or so!

Not sure I like it though but hope to improve my battery life since the last update was taking it from 100% charged at 11pm down to 40 by the morning with all data switched off and manually ending the running tasks .

I have power save turned on all the time, and on the notification screen, it permanently tells me its on power saving, and when click clear it doesn't clear that message. Also when going to use the phone, not sure I like the fade in time for the screen to come back to life!

The old saying, if it aint broke, don't fix it!

I have the 6P and have to charge it once a day, would love to know how you last 2! Considering the 6P is supposed to be better than the OP2 at battery management.

@CHR1S

I utilize all the power savings that I can, also the screen brightness of the OP2 works really well and I only need to have it turned to a quarter of the scale, don't have the wifi on all the time as EE signals around this area are spot on. I have location and screen rotate functioning so I suppose I could turn these off and save even more battery life if I wanted. Been using it full on since 6:30 this morning and still at 90% battery life left which equates to 4hrs = 10% so the maths would equate to 40hrs = 100% which as I stated is nearly 2 days give or take a couple of hours.

Really over the moon with it for the price and the build quality, it is rather larger than some phones but like the OP1 which my daughter now has it has been very reliable since purchase and would highly recommend. I am looking at the OP3 but to tell you the truth I am more than happy with my OP2 :)

So you pretty much do the opposite of what I do... haha

At least I can charge mine in about 15/20 mins, that is a positive.

So far so good, no major issues, battery seems to be better but then I've not had a perfect day to test it, next week will be the test!
