Well done Leicester a deserving win if ever I saw one especially considering the severe lack of squad rotation they had but I fail to see how Leicester winning the league over Spurs is a win for football.

I am a Manchester United fan, love my club and have done for a long time. With age I've been able to afford to support them more (through having Virgin+Sports, go to games, buy the merchandise etc).

 

I can't lie I felt sorry for Spurs. I don't hate them, nor do I like them but I respect the manager and a youthful team. So many people thought Leicester would choke and they didn't. Before Christmas I considered placing a bet on them and thought it again after Christmas.. I didn't.. totally regret it.

 

They have done brilliantly and proved the doubters wrong - and so has Spurs. No one gave them a hells chance of finishing 2nd/3rd but they are there.

 

Leicester - what a dream. When you look at where they were last season, just goes to show you don't need to spend 100million every year. I saw a photo once it had Vardy, Drinkwater and Kane all subs for Leicester. Now look at those players, they were not even first team players and yet now they are in demand.

After spurs display at Chelsea yesterday, they don't deserve it in my book! 9 yellow cards (should of been a few reds) and some of the worst tackling you see in a football game, along with throwing handbags! Completely unprofessional, and remember when spurs sold Bale they went out and spent way over £100mil!

I agree that Spurs completely lost it yesterday and there is no excuse; it simply should not have happened.

 

I can't help wondering what kind of verbal they were getting from the opposition though. There's no excuse for trying to scratch Costa's eyes out or deliberately standing on Fabregas' hand, but both of those players are likely to have been needling throughout.

I'm not going to say any more on this as I'm a passionate Spurs fan and will end up saying something I'll regret, but yes I agree on paper we didn't do enough as the points don't lie but we have the youngest squad, the top goal scorer, the greatest goal difference, the least spent and have fought tooth and nail for the entire season.

 

I've supported my club since I was 7 years old, I've stuck with them though thick and thin with little more to show than grey hairs but I get a bit pissed off when people say that we didn't deserve to win it as much as Leicester did just because we're the "bigger club".

I understand its a derby match and does get heated, but if you want to be champions you gotta keep your head in check! Look at Chelsea they didn't go flying in slide tackles or from behind, yesterdays performance was very un-spurs like and maybe just a one off but it was a disgrace! Broke the record for most yellows cards in one game through.

 

If it makes you feel better, you are favourites to win it next year. I think you will anyway.
