clover to mains adapter.

Hi guys,

 

I've been looking for a C5, Clover, mickey mouse (whatever you want to call it) to uk-mains really short adapter (ideally just a couple of cm of cable, or just the two connectors back to back). The idea being to plug it into a laptop "power brick" and not have to faff with an extra meter or so of cable i really don't need most of the time.

 

Has anyone seen or heard of such a thing? I can't find anything on amazon or google.

What do you call to mains adapter? As in just normal clover power lead but a short one? Or from the powerbrick to the laptop style?

Yeah, just like a normal clover lead but really short. To go from the "brick" to the wall.

If it's not going into the wild (staying in your lab) and you only want one or two, I'd be tempted to wire one myself.

C5 isn't rewireable, but of course the standard 3 pin plug is. Just cut the lead short and put a rewireable plug on the end. So long as it's correctly wired, the plug is modern and cord grip is in place it'll pass PAT.
