strawberry Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 how many people will remove it from the wall and plug it into their laptop and think its an aerial.
jinnantonnixx Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Why are there quotes around "Network"? Is it meant in an ironic way - is it not really a network?
chazzy2501 Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 If I wanted to allow the public to use the Ethernet (?why?) then this is about the best way to label it, Even though it's not accurate. It would seem that the Ethernet is subject to the same login portal as well.

The number of people I have around me who think wifi=internet, having a cabled connection marked wifi makes perfect sense.

Sadly more and more students believe internet access = wifi, I often get reports that the Wifi is down or not working on their computer.
