I brought a custom lightsaber, and it looks epic!!! (Irn Bru bottle for size reference)

Yes its the 'Reliant' Hero(Think that's the right one) model, I'm in love with it

You only got the Hero version? I went full hog and ordered the Champion edition.

I think I may throw the belt clip onto my order (just the clip, though..) and take it to Manchester ComicCon this year, if I can get myself an outfit sorted. My Sister is pretty good at that kind of stuff, so I might ask her to give me a hand

Never been to ComicCon and really want to go! I think I could go as Cell from Portal (Male obviously), As you can see in my last picture I do also own a working portal gun! and skyhook...

I'm buying another blade next month for 2 reasons, I can duel wield and I can fight someone! Getting a much cheaper one not another £350 one! more like £100 model with just blade and light effect

Aluminium! And leather for the grip. It makes all the lightsaber noises when you move it and hit something etc. I got the long blade and it is bit too long, gonna buy a short one me thinks!

Yep, they are. Machined aluminium.

The really expensive (£300+ ones) come with circuitry that detects when you're swinging, when there's an impact, etc (gyro stuff) and the saber will make noise as required (vrwoom, krrcchhh, etc)

You can get just the blade LED's and the on/off sound for significantly cheaper.

 

Edit: Speaking of the LED's, @DalekSec, did you go for the 6W or the 12W model?

12W and I did a luke and look right into the blade.......... DO NOT LOOK INTO THE LIGHT! I saw blind for about 30mins!

Yeah but I look at the light without the blade on, just the normal plug thingy whatever its called!

I opened the link, saw more awesome and tempting pictures then closed the page before I got too tempted. I've got other things I should spend my money on (driving lessons and other stuff that goes with being an adult).
