Zoom7000 Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 I thought both Cherub decisions were wrong. Judges gave in to the little kids team. I did think the Behemoth's Team Leader's reaction was a bit childish, but he was right. His team shouldn't have taken the risk at a crucial stage.

Jawloms Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 So who watched Sunday's Robot Wars and said "Blimey" or something along those lines?
grahamd22 Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 I thought exactly the same thing (poor arena) but who was secretly hoping the episode winner would actually fail ..?
3s-gtech Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 That blade...if only it could inflict that on another robot, rather than doing an impression of an early 20th century helicopter...
Zoom7000 Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 S P O I L E R S P A C E I think we need spoiler tags @ZeroHour 😜
6Foot2 Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 I think we need spoiler tags @ZeroHour 😜 That was an attempt to hide the content of the new post below the bottom of a screen when it was opened for viewing and to hide the same content when a new post E-Mail notification is sent to a member of Edugeek subscribed to this thread.

I'm not disagreeing with your method lol. Just a suggestion to ZH that would be very practical in this instance.

I was sure that you would know what I was alluding to. I just wanted to make a distinction between new thread tags: and a spoiler tag applied to a reply in a thread.
3s-gtech Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Isn't this usually the point where Dave step in and order more series?
tg12 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Shame, because I felt the last series and the international specials were good. However, I still think I preferred the originals. 1
Zoom7000 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Shame, because I felt the last series and the international specials were good. However, I still think I preferred the originals. Indeed. It definitely lacked the special feeling of the original series, as well as Craig Charles and Philippa Forrester.
jthompson Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 I definitely preferred the newer series, as the fights were much more effective and less anticlimactic than in the original series. Also, there were none of those godawful raps from the Plunderbird 2 team, and the naff, cringeworthy attempts at trash talking were definitely dialled down all round. I'm sad it's gone again!
ICTDirect_Dave Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 Such a shame! Made for compulsory family teatime viewing with my kids!
unixman_again Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 The (IMO) far superior Battlebots is due a return to Spike later in the year and you can catch the repeats of season 7 on Saturday 10:00am on Spike.
