Have a PC capable but with working with PC's all day, didn't want to sit up in the home office when at home when I can chill out on the lazy boys in front of big TV and game I'll end up with both just to compliment my man cave, since my PC can't really be upgraded any more as of now. Screen size isn't a problem since I also house 2 50" TVs and 4 24" Monitors in the cave. More just getting a console for when friends come over. Thinking of putting a PS4 on one, and the Xbone on the other. So that each TV has a dedicated console.

That's pretty much what I do, I've got the Xbone on one 27" screen, PS4 on the other, PC hooked up to both. Any cross platforms will probably be bought based on who else buys on what system, but I get the exclusives I'm interested in on each. I think the PS4 will remain my console of choice for now but I can see the Xbox eventually taking over, I blame that damn achievement noise.

PS4 is getting in 2016: 3D headset Remote play on PC/Mac PS2 backwards compatibility (people say that want BC, but never use it) The bulk of console exclusive features to cross platform games, because it has sold more than twice as many. Grey-gear Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 I went PS4 as one I find it easy to use than a XBone. plus I don't want to have a camera on at all times so I can get all the features and because I don't live in the USA I don't get the TV integration without paying more for it
protocol Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 I have an Xbox One simply because all my mates have it too. If they all had PS4's I'd have got one of those instead. Most games apart from the odd exclusive are on both consoles anyway.

And the US account for PS4 is not even in the same ballpark for reductions as the XB1 with new release prices on the Russia, Singapore or Colombia stores for example. Also you can game share with someone and set each others consoles to the "home" console and so effectively halving the price of any purchase if you are in a position to do that of course. As for backwards compatibility people do use it, and the 360 BC on the XB1 is welcome.Might get to the point that I can retire my 360 from under the TV next year. Not so for the PS3. Despite all the sales figures and bluster and a slightly better tech spec for the PS4, and fanboi rantings of course they are pretty much equal. So it comes down to exclusives on each console and what the people you know/play on-line with. I have had both systems since launch and MS have put a lot more effort into additions and improvements since their botched launch than sony have. #fact.

After eBay/PayPal fees of £10.79* I ended up making a profit of £44.23 so the other controller effectively only cost me £75.76. * eBay had a 75% off final value fees offer at the time I sold the controller so the fees were a lot less.

Platform Totals - VGChartz BTW, Xbone streaming to Windows 10 is fantastic, leagues ahead of Playstation's offering IME - very likely due to the historically awful WiFi performance of Playstation consoles! Convenience - I simply don't have an easy way of running a wire from my router to my PS4 at the moment. I'll sort it eventually, but it's not doable at the moment.

Only bought one game in 3 months gears of war. I am sorry but PC is smashing hell out of console at the moment, non exclusives aside, the games coming to PC are cheaper and much prettier. spend the money on a graphics card for your PC

This is probably what I will do eventually, but cost What you could do is just buy one more power line adapter rather than the set of 2 (normally around £20) so nice saving and have that one also pair with the same power line adapter connected to your router thus sharing the connection between your bridged router and PS4?

Yeah I will do eventually, even have a spare switch lying around to connect up all the devices in my lounge when I get around to buying one, just an expensive time of year and can't justify the spend when the WiFi works - for now!
