you'd know if you did the robot place, its basically a self sufficient town run only by robots, but they're bugging out/glitching etc.

If you can remember the name that would be great!

I went to the General Atomics Galleria a while back and got my ass kicked by the Mr Gutsy in charge a few times, he asks if you've come to take over and when you say no he kills you, when you say yes he asks for ID and when you can't produce it, he kills you. I figured I'd come across a ID card at some point in one of the other General Atomics locations and then go back there but I don't think I've ever found anything.

Went with Danse in tow, walked in, everyone attacked, everyone died.

Removed disk from Xbox, deciding what to play next!

This happened to me once or twice. If you stay out of the building with the boxing ring at first as one of the Mr Handys challenges you to a fight. If you defend yourself, the whole place becomes hostile. It might be triggering that bit even you just pass through it.

The ID you need is definitely there somewhere!

I've found about 90% of locations on the map, cleared about 20% of them. Does anyone else play for the exploration more than the main story? I'm level 50-something and have only just got to Virgil. I've amassed a huge collection of weapons and apparel, have nearly all the bobbleheads and even found the alien (and his loot) recently.

I'm running out of new places to explore so will probably progress the main quest soon.

Highlights for me so far;

Drinking Buddy and his jokes

Finding the random junk arranged in funny ways, specifically Teddy Bears, I wish I'd screenshotted all of those I'd found so far!

Sniping a Suicide Super Mutant's mini-nuke whilst he was stood in the center of 5 other Mutants next to 2 cars, at night. The resulting explosion and chaos was a sight to behold.

Luring a Behemoth into the center of Boston and watching it fight Raiders, Gunners, Brotherhood of Steel and a Deathclaw all at once.

The level of detail and unique stuff to discover across the world, the thought involved even in some of the things 90% of the people who play the game are unlikely to discover is astonishing.

I faked it and his scanner borked.

So now I've got a robut shop-town.

Now my character is tooled up to the hilt with 150+ damage weapons I've been short of places to go to use them... then found Gunners Plaza and a Behemoth which ended messily (for them anyway)

Need a decent sized DLC now, the recent robot one is apparently quite short which is disappointing.

Is the Galleria the place with the racing track? I hacked a terminal and blew them all up after the first robot was less than friendly...

Nope, 2 different places.

Yes - this goes for ALL open world games, the storyline is usually the last thing I do.

I remember chuckling at being asked to clear rats out of a cellar on Morrowind - when I was already the leader of all of the guilds and one of the most important (and most powerful) people in the world.

I know that's the theory but from the few places I've read, including earlier in this thread, many people were rushing along with the storyline.

What style of build are people currently playing with?

Mine is balanced across the SPECIAL stats with a focus on gun handling/accuracy and leaning towards stealth. I don't bother with power armour, it feels way too clumsy! Is there anything else you can do with fusion cores? I have so many.

Ive just started a Rick Grimes style build on pc using only pistols with high charisma etc, quite a fun build tbh. I wont use power armour with him, but I used it with my previous character and I think its been done right tbh, so much better than FO3/NV. It actually feels like power armour should in this game.

I really liked the power armor style and feel, but I think it was just too common in the world.. I had so many frames and sets of power armor towards end-game that it felt ridiculous and I never wanted to get into it!

I've got a tonne of mods installed currently, mainly visual, but same as @localzuk I'm waiting for the creation kit to appear.
