This is how i setup mine

If you dont have a virtual dc, just do all the commands from the host and dc sections on your dc and instead of pointing at utm, point at internet

It's worth noting that if you get your Internet from one of the Regional Broadband Consortiums, they usually have their own time server you can use, rather than going outside.

 

In London, the LGfL have one at time.lgfl.org.uk that I've sync'd DCs to in the past, using the following commands:

 

net stop w32time

w32tm /config /syncfromflags:manual /manualpeerlist:time.lgfl.org.uk

w32tm /config /reliable:yes

net start w32time

w32tm /resync
