    Moving from schools old domain to schools new domain, user doing it them self so ownership isn’t an issue reason to process is so they have it easily accessible, it was more where it’s stored between gsuite - gsuite and is it secure

    I thought this might be the case. we have a helpdesk which i want staff to have one shortcut to (external address) unfortunately in school we can't browse to the external address, i guess i need to get in touch with the internet provider then

    Hi Is this as simple as creating a new A host with the external IP as the name and putting the internal IP as the IP? Thanks

    I've been informed that you can no longer buy smart licences to go with third party products, we currently have a mixture of smartboards and clevertouchs, and are stuck with what to do, then plan was to continue replacing old smartboards and buy a licence for each clevertouch however now it's not possible anymore.. what are other people doing? I would prefer to have the same software across school than changing from class to class!

    No virtual dc. Which time server do you use? Where is the setting?

    Do you point to an external time server? our server always syncs to 5 minutes late. How can I fix?

    Hi all Just looking for some opinions on your managed wireless. We have the ok to replace our old system which constantly crashes and cannot cope with the amount of devices we have in school. I'm currently looking at Rucus which I've heard is very reliable. We currently have 250+ wireless devices soon to be more like 400, these are a mixture of ipads/netbooks/ android devices. Would like to set up guest access if possible for BYOD Not too worried about cost would just like some opinions! Thanks

    Hi I have a staff member that only works part time they receive a lot of emails that are urgent and so on their non working days they want an auto reply saying they're not at work today bla bla bla. Obviously an out of office reply could be switched on each week but ideally i'd like to schedule it, her pc can be left on all the time to schedule on/off so that's no an issue but can't find a way of scripting Thanks Forgot to say we have exchange email but it is provided by an external company so need client side

    Hi I want to deploy google drive across the network so users have their work auto downloaded at home / school. We currently have roaming profiles, but with redirected desktop / documents etc. What I want is to redirect google drive to userarea\google drive> I can find where to manually do this but can't find where the setting is in the reg or program file? Any ideas? Thanks

    promethean board writing is all joined, even when the pen is clearly taken off the board the writing is still joined together, any ideas?!

    Hi Is there a way to not have all comments from non registered users go into spam? I don't want all students to have to sign up before commenting on the blog, which they can, but I don't want all comments in spam! Thanks

    create the file classification with what? Server Resource Manager? I can't find how to apply or not apply to a given group

    I thought about doing that, but ideally students will only be able to access their own work, don't want them to edit or delete anyone elses

    Thanks, I've had a look at this and it can only be applied for file directories from what I can see, whereas I want to create a policy saying no one can save avis, then create a group say y10 media students, and allow them to be an exception

    Hi I need to restrict the use of some files by certain groups users, some users need to be able to save avi's but don't want all users to due to space resrictions, does any one user a 3rd party software for this? Thanks

    Do you have to set up each user on this though? can only get it working if i set it up ser username!

    Well I did yes but I i'm not sure any were set to user only as in gp I had it specified that admins have access to all user profiles, BUT I did delete a load of old profiles so it could have been that if it wasn't set straight away. Thanks all!
