Windows 10 Education

I went with Education, as I can just see something popping up down the line which may be Educational in it that someone will need want.

Me too. Windows will evolve and I think the editions will grow apart. I don't want to have to change version down the line and Education deploys nicely with a bit of tweaking.

Leaning towards LTSB now as well - all testing so far done on Education, but now testing LTSB instead. Don't want Edge as no plug-in for Impero is available/working as of yet.

Already got the LTSB deployed to over 170 computers with virtually no issues.

Just to resurrect an old thread - but wondered who was originally on LTSB has now swapped to EDU and vice versa?

Still on LTSB 2016, got it on 650 computers now. Still no real reason to change, rather just wait for the next LTSB (2019)

Same here. We have just replaced a shed loads of computers and don't plan to buy any Windows machines for a number of years.

On the other hand, I'm 100% glad we didn't go to LTSB and went with CB Education, mainly because we're now running apps that refuse to run on LTSB.

Do you have a list of these Apps please? We are looking at running LTSB so knowing would help us avoid any issues.
