print class lists with teachers' names?

Hello

 

help please!! My DM is away and I've been asked for a list of all classes for En/Ma/Sc with teacher's names. Teacher just wants the class code and teacher's name, no students' names.

 

What is the quickest way to do this, please?

 

I had a look in Reports/Student List/Class List, but I don't seem to be able to export teachers' names/codes?

I would say that the best way of doing that is to print the class screen in NT6 filtered to each subject. Do you have experience with NT6?

thanks for your quick reply, but unfortunately, no, it's the DM who uses NT6, not me.

all you have to do is put in the Two letter subject code and it will produce the lists.

Selection Timetable?

just returned after the summer break, so only just seen your message. Thanks for this, as with many other things in Sims, I didn't know this exist.

Each teacher can print their own lists from the homepage as long as you've set them up with a timetable widget. Right click over the class.

Only four and a half years later, but I'm trying to do this at the moment. Can anyone help please? I found "Selection Timetable?" as suggested by @CarpeDiem, but don't know what to do with it. I just want a list of every single class with all the kids and the teacher who teaches it.

@Jawloms, only just seen your question. I changed schools and I don't think I kept a copy of the report @BKGarry kindly sent me at the time (sorry), and I cannot remember what @CarpeDiem refers to by selection timetable, but, if I had to do it again, I'd design a report like this, then on the next screen would filter by subject

I did it like this. Because you have some classes that have 2 teachers, you have to export this, then do some kind of filtering in excel to delete the duplicates, so it's still a bit of a pain. the 2nd step has the filter Prompt at runtime ticked so you can choose when you run the report. Excuse the black screen, Remote desktop fun

There is a way to do this built into SIMS now, but it does do it with Staff initials rather than full name, but shows you has them each period on the timetable

 

Step 1 - go to Reports > Students Lists > Class Lists

 

Step 2 - filter your class list with the options on the right, you have to double click those

 

Step 3 - Select the export button at the top right

 

Step 4 - Make sure you include Period Information

 

Step 5 select whether you want it to open in Excel or as HTML

That is from those reports, where you are listing students names

 

Let me see if I can find my original report if you need it

 

If you wanted just the teachers details for the classes, I would personally get that from the classes screen in Nova T6
