Reminds me of the evening a stag beetle got into my room! Windows wide open, first thing I heard of it was the flapping about, I thought it was a bat as I'd never seen a stag beetle before (or after this encounter!) Remember John Candy in the film the Great Outdoors? Yeah, that was me getting that stag beetle back out...

I've had similar problems, both my monitors were switching themselves off randomly and going blank after I had to move office. Turns out one of the plug pins was loose which my IT support superglued in place.

Sims Assessment Manager Marksheets - ordered by first name
Pink_Panda replied to Pink_Panda's topic in MIS Systems
they did indeed! Thanks @Esteban, rightful order now restored. -
Good morning A new one for me: just went into a year group marksheet in assessment manager, and it's ordered alphabetically by first name?! Any idea how I can change it back to be ordered by last name? thanks alot

in Exams Organiser: Reports / Entries / Examination Lists ensure you've selected the right season Candidate Order: select Name (think that's the default). On the right from that, there's a box to select the exams. It will show all exams you've got entries for once you clicked on the magnifying glass. Choose all or a selection of exams / Update / Ok. This brings up a new window. Top right corner there's a button looking like a keyboard (second from right), click on that to export (TSV or CSV) and save. Then open in Excel and tidy up. Hope this helps.

You can produce alphabetically ordered exam entry lists via Exams Organiser in Sims that you can then export into Excel. Normally only the exams officer has access to EO though. There is a report you can run in Sims called Exam Entry Report that you can import. When run, it will list each student and all their exam entries, so might need a bit of chopping and changing to get it into the format you want.

It's been a while since I imported it, but you could get a report imported before the takeover. It's called Student Exam Cards - Exam Number & UCI. Can you check with your support?

[sims] Easiest way to alter pupils' maths sets.

If in Sims: Focus / School / Academic Structure / Curriculum Assignment by Scheme. Select the relevant membership scheme which will bring up a grid, then enter the ticks in the relevant sets. -
We've also set up AM aspects to add to marksheet templates as @schoolIDM has described.

It's Gary Rhodes in our house, normally have to make 1 1/2 of his recipe so everyone has enough. Pancakes with golden syrup, lemon and sugar, and Nutella (not at the same time) here. Seeing some daffodils around, but the ones in our garden haven't come up yet. No sightings of leeks or dragons. Rain and dreary yesterday

Coronavirus: General discussion (see opening post for rules)
Pink_Panda replied to Dos_Box's topic in General Chat
Attended a 6th form info evening last night at my son's school. Not as busy as I remember these events, but of course the 6th form has less students. Chairs were all set up as normal (no extra distance). Apart from me, nine other people were wearing masks... -
the only way to import back into Sims would be via a formatted marksheet for that class that the student is linked to. you won't be able to import the individual report.

I had one fly in my bedroom years ago. Didn't know at the time it was a stag beetle.
