Hi Bev, can I ask how many pupils you work with? Matrep mentions 'one form entry' and 'over 1500 pupils we recommend you split the job into two accounts'? We work with 11 form entry and an average year count is 1800 pupils? Thanks

Hi, we don't currently use SIMS for our narrative school reports (we use a third-party provider) but our HT has asked me to look at what options are available? What softwares do you use for reports if you don't use SIMS? Thanks in anticipation

Found it! Tools/Cover/Stats. Though I cannot find out how many sessions *had* to be covered, but I added up all the cover totals. Thanks

Hi everyone I need to print a report for the academic year to date with cover information, just for auditable cover history for the file; is this possible? Can't see anything set up already but I may be looking in the wrong place! Any info gratefully received. Thanks very much!

Change group membership date. Would be easier via HoD access as marksheet has prob been deleted.

Thanks - we'll probably go back to the spreadsheet upload again next year then as I don't think the cost is justified. We thought it could generate estimates for the new pupils! Thanks for your help - I have emailed FFT.

Hi everyone Can anyone help me please? I have at least 19 pupils who came to us after we uploaded the FFT spreadsheet, so we have no FFT targets for them. We bought FFT Estimates last year, on the basis that we thought that it would 'read' pupils' KS3 data from SIMS and create FFTs for them, even though they weren't our pupils at the time. I have just checked and these kids do not appear in FFT Estimates. Nor, of course, do they appear on FFT. How do I get FFT data for these pupils? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Just a thought - so pleased I don't have to delete the marksheets, but does the embargo only work in AM if the Global Exams Filter is toggled? If so, do the embargo and the filter work independently of each other (ie if I set an embargo for August and toggle the exams filter, can I still see the results - as I need to?).

If I get one more phone call asking me why I haven't bothered to put the FFTs on marksheets yet....! Anyone know please if the above applies to Wales? We haven't heard anything about this but did purchase FFT Estimates this year and am keen to use it. Thanks for link @jonrose

Thanks - unfortunately, all of the templates (200 odd?) are set up already to our requirements. I think I'll have to go with your first answer, unless anyone can tell me any different?

Haha @Jenis, I had an assistant in a past life who actually became my brother in law, but yes he did find the tasks somewhat repetitive! Managing two schools must be interesting, though....! Ours is split site with c. 1800 pupils so not an easy job, but at least we're all the same school.

Hi @PhilNeal, we don't have direct access to CAPITA (it is all handled by our LA) so I do not have a ref unfortunately. However, as mentioned above, we were advised to delete all marksheets prior to Results Day, something we aren't prepared to do, as our HoDs/Co-Ords collect their results after the embargo and then go straight back to their desks to start analysing the results from marksheets.
