yes but It depends on the game, wii sports (bowling) doesn't play online yet.

Yeah, the Wii online play is a new thing I believe, unlike the Xbox where its been the idea since day 1. Wii's have built in wifi and the normal wired is a USB dongle for it.

My costs start from the moment I get into the car to start going over ... and covers my trip home too. It also does not include additional expenses that may need to be paid. I would have to purchase a range of games consoles as part of the research for this ... and since the Wii is in short supply I mayhave to use ebay to get one ... in fact I might have to put my own on to ebay so that ther eis one on ebay to buy ... I think £1000 is a reasonable price.

There are many reported issues of WII's and certain WiFi implementations of WPA2 having issues.

In order to make it possible to support our WII and an IPod Touch and an HTC Kaiser we had to downgrade to WEP 64 bit as it was the only mode that all 3 devices could negotiate sucessfully all at the same time.

 

We now run dualband, 802.11a WPA2 for computers and 802.11b/g WEP for gadgets.

 

Consumer electronics and WiFi a recipie for disaster.
