SHimmer45 Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 As per the title, very interested in the form factor but dont want to have to "build" of the kits into a working PC stuff to do over the summer is mounting already so not having this extra to do would be grand.
Arthur Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 We don't have any NUCs at the moment, but if we did I would probably buy them from @VeryPC since they can build and support them. www.edugeek.net/forums/behind-red-door/137796-building-nucs-house.html#post1184309 1
Norphy Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Stone do them too. It would surprise me greatly if the likes of Novatech and Scan didn't sell them pre-assembled too. 1

I got mine, complete with VESA mount, from Tranquil PC. The case is made from a solid chunk of metal, no fan needed, so if you fit an SSD you get a machine with no moving parts.

cullingsh Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Stone computers for ours. I have 1 as a display pc which is hidden out of the way, one for a library system vesa mounted on the screen and a further 6 going into offices this week to be mounted to adjustable height screens - love the fact that they take up no desk space and with the sshd have plenty of space and are quick. 1
Sylv3r Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 We've only got the one which was purchased from Stone. 1
jamesfed Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Novatech here - came in the Intel box all good to go; didn't even need to do a custom spec on it as well
SHimmer45 Posted June 9, 2015 Author Posted June 9, 2015 thanks for the feedback, ordered a unit from stone the other week impressed with it (needs a display port screen to get rid of the chunky adapter) 1
