No spoilers, but chugging some jet or other chems helps too :p

Yeah she's fairly easy to max relationship, I just like her for her attitude tbh.

Valentine's quite fun to hang around with too. Danse can shove off. Dogmeat's fine if you want a companion that shuts up, but I get bored of him. Piper I've never travelled with, she irritates me. Hancock I got too late into the game to care. And I forget if there's anyone else.

I had to stop using Dogmeat as the barking set my dog off...

Oh, also Curie. I'd say Curie's quite difficult to find though. Not too difficult, but certainly harder to accidentally stumble across than the others. Which is quite a shame because her companion mission is actually really interesting as a concept.

And yes, the companion mission is really interesting.

Currently have:

- Charles Borkley

- Cait Sith

- Piper "The Institute did it!"

- Nick the Brobot

- Codsworth

- Curie the French GLaDOS

- McReady

been playing more nier automata. the slowdown/frame drops can be annoying so much so its the excuse i used to get a ps4 pro lol. it definitely has less slowdown but you can tell when its loading a new area and stutters (and im only running in 1080 as no 4k tv yet (as i still need to replace the amp to do that and all the 4k amps ive seen are too tall for my entertainment centre)

On with Need For Speed Payback, it was half price so thought why not! It's got a terrible storyline and some poor voice acting, but you play it for the fun car races and modding stupid cars. I made Mr Pete make them all bright pink, although some have gone to purple now...

"You can't ruin this car with that colour!"

I accidentally found Curie, too.

And by Curie, I mean that bloody cat that starts the whole sidequest going.

I wasn't even looking for it.

I found a pendant that had to be returned to someone that looks like one of our English teachers.

I just found the vault... Then the cat ran off when I got there.

Yeah, it does that.

I meant the bit where you gotta go find it again afterwards. IIRC the little boy doesn't get bitten by the mole rat (which opens up the rest of the vault) until you've done that?

I found the vault because I followed some traders i was gonna "trade" with. Never fully done any companion quest.

Well when you first go in a little girl's cat runs away. If you find it and tell it to go home (because that's what a cat would do ) then a little boy gets bitten by a mole rat and starts a new quest that ends up with you having another potential companion: A Miss Nanny robot that got modified to serve medical roles named Contagions Vulnerability Robotic Infirmary Engineer (CVRIE), dubbed Curie. But even though she's basically just a french-lady version of Codsworth, she actually has a companion quest that I thought was pretty interesting.

Although it turns out that actually, upon doing some research, most of the companions actually don't have companion quests. Boo!

I should revisit Fallout 4.. I never did get around to finishing any of the DLC.. I know I did some of the Automaton stuff but that's about it.

I kinda want to play Fallout 4 again now... I take a peek every so often at the latest mods but I'm still waiting for those big DLC-like new lands/quest-line mods like the ones that appeared for Fallout 3 and New Vegas before Fallout 4 released.

Perhaps you'd like to keep an eye on Fallout: Cascadia then :)

See also: https://www.reddit.com/r/FalloutCascadia/

Oh yes, that sounds like the ticket! Thanks for the heads-up.

There was another called Fallout Lonestar that was in development for New Vegas before Fallout 4 was announced. The devs then decided to wait until Fallout 4, but have since gone dark.

Yep, I may have to dust it off (virtually) later on and re-download the old collection of mods I had.

Always unlocked her just never did he friendship/trust quest you get later on. Unfortunately i find it abit dull unless modded now. I really want to try the frost mod for it. makes it so you play a character in the nucleur winter after the bombs instead. Alott more survival parts.

Also there is a mod in the works to recreate new vegas in the fallout 4 engine.

I was very tempted to mess around with mods for my play through, but with it being on PS4, The mods I have are very limited. I also have all the DLC to go through (I did see a mod for improved textures that i was tempted by....)

...I could have sworn I saw someone saying she's actually a Mr. Handy.

lmao that wouldn't surprise me, but I'm fairly certain she's a Miss Nanny.

Checked the wiki, the wiki has her down as a Miss Nanny too. Mind you, it's a wiki, so it's not infallible, but probably the best we'll get.

There are some great Fallout 4 mods on PC. Weapons, armour, settlements, companions, enemies, weather, textures, lighting, character models..

Some of my favourites are Crossbows, improved Super Mutants (adds in Nightkin et al), better weather, better sneaking mechanics, and the 'put your weapon down when you're just aimlessly wandering around' mod which is just QOL.

I also have mods for armour, the Alien Blaster, 'Effect chips' (that let you disassemble weapons with effects like burning, bug-hunters, etc and when you've gathered enough (about 4-6), put an effect of your choice onto a weapon of your choice), and plenty of other little weapon mods (more variations of parts of existing weapons)

It does increase loading times though :p

Well, I was going to re-download Fallout 4 and all the mods last night, and I set the game to download before falling asleep in my chair whilst watching a video. Best laid plans and all that...

Does anybody Watch Competitive Call of duty?

There is an event coming up this weekend.

Haven't watched nor played COD since MW2 i think! I was ranked top 50 in the UK at that game but i couldn't stand it! Only played it as my friends wanted me to play it all the time....

Then went over to PC gaming and haven't touched COD since!

Went back to a bit more GTA online - why is it that most people appear to play heists by what I can only imagine is rolling the controller on their faces.

My cries of "How the hell did you die there?" have been frequent.
