If you're going to go for the raid - for all that is sacred, read up on it first. It's waaay more complicated than any of the raids in D1.

Currently playing Star Wars Battlefront 2. A lot of improvements from the 1st one but don't get me started on the 'buying' system that is currently shutdown.

 

The amount of times I've been killed by players with purple cards (ability/stat boosting) is unbelievable. I've already spent around 65K credits (earned) and I didn't have the Pre-release date access at all. So far I've not gained a single purple and only very few slightly higher grades than normal.

 

It's Fifa all over again where you need to spend money to gain the best players for multiplayer. It's incredibly hard to compete against players with better guns and better abilities.

 

Luckily enough I've now got a 2nd grade upgraded gun to 3/4 main troopers. Far better and easier to kill with. Sadly it's all become a bit pay to win and there seems to be a rise of cheaters with no banning in sight (as far as I've seen). The usual ESP and even aimbots popping around where players who rolling/dodging and quickly popping 4 players in the head.

 

I'm enjoying it though, just have to avoid peak time weekends because the lag really seems to hit servers.

Where did it go wrong for you? I've found the biggest pain to be the damned "Pleasure Gardens" with the damned dogs.

Were stuck in the royal pools

 

1) I still have a lowish power level (265) , guyjd and his people were mostly over 300.

 

2) I dont have many good power "automatic" guns, I have a high powered exotic Scout which doesnt work too well in all the chaos, but that's about it.

 

3) We just haven't found a good system yet (though we have read guides etc)

For melting Yellow health enemies - Hawthorne's Field Forged Shotgun is a good power weapon to go with. Full auto - very high power. If you're in a Clan, grind out the Clan bonuses each week to up your kit (and power level). You'll also find infusing is your friend as you find good kit with lower power.

We managed to get to the gauntlet but failed on the final part. Hopefully should be able to complete the raid next time we are on.

For melting Yellow health enemies - Hawthorne's Field Forged Shotgun is a good power weapon to go with. Full auto - very high power. If you're in a Clan, grind out the Clan bonuses each week to up your kit (and power level). You'll also find infusing is your friend as you find good kit with lower power.

 

I have that, at 265 power. Found Ammo a tad scarce (never enough in one game to do much damage, probably need to save it up for a couple attempts until I have full ammo...

I also found the sweet business exotic auto rifle did well at melting the bathers. Just need to watch out on ammo.

Don't blame yourself, I think it was more that Rich didn't understand the mechanics of the pools, it does say 270 recommended for the raid and I'd put that figure closer to 290, I'm sure we can do it again at some point and get past it no problem.

 

I'm going to spam Rich with Raid walk-through's today so maybe next time we won't end up trying it his way for an hour until we convince him that that's not how it works.

 

Was a pretty good night though and even the little bit we did get through got us plenty of engrams.

My first clear on the PC version took about 3 hours, the only boss we had a problem with was the dogs in pleasure gardens. However we thought you had to kill the dogs all in one Phase but you get 4 attempts.

 

After you complete it for the first time you'll be able to full clear it in an hour or less. It's super easy when you all know what you're doing.

started playing the game I bought over black Friday sale human fall flat well that's a really fun game just wandering round an uninhabited land puzzle solving it kind of reminds me of how I felt playing botw (though far less scope) but just trying to solve puzzles with whats there and grabbing is all you can do. dosent harm that its pretty good for achievements played maybe 2 hours and got ~200 Gamerscore

 

also bought xenoblade chronicles 2 for the switch so I can play that come friday
