Dell Latitude E6420 14.1" Screen Second Gen (sandy-bridge) i5 2520M 2.5GHz 8GB DDR3 10600S 120GB SSD Drive Win 7 Pro COA Laptops have HDMI Port DVD Drive 36 Month RTB Warranty I've too many desktop options to list them all, however if you have the space I'd suggest the Z210 workstations as they're by far our best value offering at the moment http://www.ict-direct.co.uk/hp-z210-refurbished-workstation.html Drop me a PM if you fancy a chat?
SpaceInvader83 Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 We recently purchased some Zoostorm desktops, SFF,Asus H81M-K MB, i5-4440 3.1GHz, 8GB, 128GB SSD, 3 year warranty - we paid around £320 ex VAT for the base unit only and we've had them about 8 months and they've been great to be honest!

scotyboy56 Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 At one of my primary schools they have just purchased 3: Dell Latitude 15 5000 E5540 39.6 cm (15.6") LED Notebook - Intel Core i5 i5-4310U 2 GHz 4GB of RAM, not sure of HDD space as my line manager sourced them. £535.84 each Plus 4GB RAM module to install myself £20.57 each. Pretty sure that includes 3yrs NBD warranty. I love Dell, they last the time (One of my primary schools is still rocking a trolley of D520's as they have no money, and it runs okay to be honest).
gsk Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 (edited) Dell outlet have some certified refurbished Vostro 3360s with i5 and 120gb SSD for £425inc VAT and Del. - Ive bought these as personal laptops for people and been very impressed with the 'certified refurbished' standard - You'd never think it wasn't brand new. http://outlet.euro.dell.com/Online/SecondaryInventorySearch.aspx?c=uk&l=en&s=dfb&cs=ukdfb1&puid=41594c41 If new is a must then this HP laptop is good value - I have bought one for a school and the quality is good for the price but obviously not at the same level as a ProBook. HP 350 G2 Laptop - Laptops at Ebuyer If you want the better build quality and SSD preinstalled then this probook is slightly over budget but I've had 60+ of these and they've been good in the hands of students and staff alike. L8B38ES#ABU, HP ProBook 450 G2, W119987 - Save on Laptops Both of the HP laptops have got 5th Gen (Broadwell?) i5 CPUs. The first one would need a separate SSD buying and installing but would still come in under budget. Edited May 5, 2015 by gsk
GuyJD Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Are you looking for screens in with that price? I just picked up a load of HP ProDesk 400 SFF's for £440 (HP i5 (3.3ghz) 8GBRam 1TB HDD) no HDMI input though but I'm sure you'd be able to get a capture card to do that.
Stone_Charli Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Hi @DalekSec - hope I'm not too late We can help with all of this, if you're looking for an alternative to Dell kit. Please feel free to drop me a PM or email [email protected] and we can put together some recommendations and quotes for you. Thanks, Charli
ITGURU Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 For £285 we purchased some redcat Desktop PCs - Price was for base unit only but included keyboard and mouse. Intel Core i3-4130 - 4GB DDR3 - 120GB Kingston SSD - Even at i3 they are super super nippy and more than adequate for running adobe CS6 suite - Couldn't believe how quick they imaged and added to the domain. On a 10gig backbone and 1 gig to each PC we were laughing at login times!
