There I need to get a copy of my Job Description/Person Spec and contract of employment. Once I have these I meet with Unison Rep and they will come into school. I am meeting with the head in the next half an hour to tell him what I will be doing. I have been told to say I want it in writing and I am going to speak to my Trade Union before making any changes to my Job Role.

I will keep an update on here come monday. I have still asked for the required info in writing and I am getting the info from the council. (Contract etc.) thanks agian all, these HEADS think they can do what ever they want.

Show that to the rep as well. I still think we should start our own union anyway, there will soon be 5000 of us! Good luck mate, remember that you are not alone

As great an idea as this is, hasn't it already been discussed quite seriously and at some length, with the conclusion that it'd be far too difficult?
