Stop student seeing where there documents are

Afternoon all,

 

Does anyone know how I can stop student seeing where there documents are stored.

 

For example when a student opens where documents on there machine. in the top explorer bar it says: \\server\students\student year\name\documents

 

Can I get it to just say documents?

Do you map drives with a login script or with GPOs? We're currently using GPOs and don't have this, it just shows the drive letter and then any remaining paths that they'd see normally such as N:\Documents or N:\Pictures.

Ditto here, mapping drives via GPO settings doesn't display the path.

We currently have Homedrive specified in AD, and it shows the full path.

 

Does any one know if doing it via GPP have any positive or negative effects, other than not displaying the full UNC path
