StevieM Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 @Tesla has been given 12 licks of the cane.
hallb15 Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 And those of us who have never seen Die Hard (or even have any idea of what it's about!) I know. Shocker, eh! Die Hard was the only reason I bought a Playstation back in the 90s, well that and Time Crisis - anyone remember the pink and blue light guns? 1
Oaktech Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Die Hard was the only reason I bought a Playstation back in the 90s, well that and Time Crisis - anyone remember the pink and blue light guns? Time crisis was the only game I was ever any good at. I mean good as in I was the top 10 scores on every arcade machine within 5 miles of my house, and every motorway services between Bournemouth and London!
StevieM Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Quick update on the 'Die Hard' situation. Good to my word, I started the Amazon *spit* Prime Instant Video 30-day trial on Saturday. Navigated my way to Die Hard to find that it's not included and I would have to pay an extra £2.49 to watch at 26-year-old film. I'll find someone else who can lend it to me instead. Nevermind, I thought, I'll watch that other good old holiday classic 'Planes, Trains and Automobiles' instead. Er... only if I pay £2.49 for the privilege. Prime Instant Video? Slime Instant Video in my book. Grrrr.

hallb15 Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Time crisis was the only game I was ever any good at. I mean good as in I was the top 10 scores on every arcade machine within 5 miles of my house, and every motorway services between Bournemouth and London! I didn't have an arcade anywhere near my house - that's why I had to buy Time Crisis for the Playstation! Thought I'd have a quick look on ebay for Time Crisis and a PS1 when I stumbled upon this: NAMCO TIME CRISIS 4 TWIN DELUXE 50in SCREENS. WORKING | eBay I might have to sell one of the children for this - I need it in my house on Christmas day!!!
StevieM Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Die Hard was the only reason I bought a Playstation back in the 90s, well that and Time Crisis - anyone remember the pink and blue light guns? Nor have I ever owned a PlayStation, or played Time Crisis. The light gun thing took me back a little further though to Tin Can Alley... which, also, I never owned. (I'm beginning to feel a little hard done-by!)

Havent checked but normally more choice on there than Amazon. https://www.netflix.com/gb/?nmrs=1418654015766 Only number 3 (With A Vengeance) is on there, which was the start of the diminishing returns. It'll be on telly at some point soon, I'm sure.
