Disabling internal PC Samsung TV

I have three Samsung TVs with built in PCs that ran MagicInfo, ive set up Xibo and its working perfectly running off of three small PCs, however the TVs keep reverting to the internal PCs whenever the TV is awoken from Standby, the problem then being that the internal PC is displayed as opposed to the Laptop through HDMI, If I completely disable the power to the PCs then it should resolve the issue, however I dont think its quite that simple.

 

Anyone had the same situation and found a work around?

You could install Xibo on the internal pc and uninstall magicinfo

Can't you just simply just unplug the power cable to the internal PC?

Disable the EWF in Set-up menu - options (default password is six zeros) and the monitor will reboot. After reboot press Windows key on keyboard and use left mouse click to turn off Beethoven II utilty.

Go to Start, Programs and select Uninstall Beethoven II, reboot again.

You should now have the normal Windows desktop.

I want to completely disable/remove MagicInfo. Will the above steps do that?

Yes, if you have the same Samsung magicnet monitors as we have, it worked for us.

Two of them are 6-7 years old. The third one is 2 years old. I'll look at what rev they're running.

On ours you can select which input to start screen with, this is in the screen menu. Works for us, maybe this is only on scheduled startup?
