GuyJD Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Brilliant photos @GuyJDThanks, I don't get a chance to go out and take pictures as much as I'd like.
enjay Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Thanks, I don't get a chance to go out and take pictures as much as I'd like. The times I get out to photogenic places, I'm usually on my bike and I'm not about to start carrying my SLR with me in my saddle bag!
bald_pig Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Thanks, I don't get a chance to go out and take pictures as much as I'd like. Looks like you've been hanging out not too far from me! Saw the North Weald pics on your flickr as well
jthompson Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 One from the weekend. Ahh, Bedford, my old home town! That bridge always reminds of two things: a sponsored bridge walk that I did when I was in cubs, and the River Festival. 1

SteveM555 Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Very nice! Are these single images or stacked? They're stacked - There are 5-6 images of 60s exposure each. When it's clear I am hoping to get much longer exposure times and more images to get some of the colour and detail. 1

MatthewL Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Had a day off on Friday and went down to the local bombing range which at this time is just full of seals. Here are my offerings (links to FlickR). This is at Donna Nook in Lincolnshire. 1

elsiegee40 Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 (edited) It is possible that not everyone will be able to see this photo of West Pier, Brighton that I took this evening. Just testing something. Please don't bother reporting as we know there is a bug! Edited November 22, 2017 by elsiegee40 4

HarryMonkey Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 I had this printed up as a 16x24 recently so I will be having my first attempt at framing at the weekend (assuming the cutting mat and the frame arrives). 1
Duke5A Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 I am in absolute awe of many of the photos here. @jbunoomally and @SteveM555, absolutely stunning work. I need to get out into the world some more. Time is hard to come by with work and family obligations though. I run a side business as a sports photographer, but would love to branch out into stuff like this. Back when I was first getting into the hobby my Dad took me to Quebec on a hunting trip. We stayed at a camp called Camp Coucoushee on the northern tip of Lac Kikwissi. It was run by a second generation proprieter by the name of Serge. The place opened in the 1950s. I don't even know if it's still operating as Serge was in his 70's the last time I was there. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Syracuse,+New+York/Chemin+de+Maniwaki,+Rouyn-Noranda,+QC+J0Z,+Canada/Unnamed+Road,+Rouyn-Noranda,+QC+J0Z,+Canada/@47.0425389,-78.5649399,1998m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m15!4m14!1m5!1m1!1s0x89d9f39bbf979a0d:0xd50ce2d7ad9545!2m2!1d-76.1474244!2d43.0481221!1m5!1m1!1s0x4d286d43bbf409d1:0xfae5467d663b76d!2m2!1d-78.945647!2d46.7459663!1m0!3e0?hl=en I had a piece of junk Canon D30 that would hold enough of a charge for maybe 30 photos and a 300m F4L lens. We were on our way back from fishing and came across a moose swimming across the lake. I'll never forget this moment. 1
