I need it to teach. I don't need the whole internet , just google. Can I borrow some of your internet? Does my Ipad work? Is my internet down at home? is this the millennium bug?.

At 13:30, following discussion between PoP contacts and Janet engineers, Janet were able to access the regional routers for further investigation. It was confirmed that, as a result of the major fibre break in Leeds, the RNEP routers were being flooded by layer-2 ARPs, possibly caused by an Ethernet loop, which appeared to be created by a spanning tree issue from within the YHMAN core network. As a result, the regional RNEP routers were unable to route traffic originating from or destined for sites inside the region.
